KC-RD062 Troubleshoot
(KC-RD062 is the same as KCRD06, just different color)
2 steps to test if your humidifier work or not
Base Test

Simply remove the water tank, add a small amount of water to the base. Do not let the water over the pit.

Turn on the humidifier. Is there mist and green light?

Put your hand near the air outlet to feel if air come out or not.
Water Tank Test

Add water to the tank, to see if it leak or not.

Then screw the tank cap on. Flip the tank over, to see if it leak or not.

When pressing the spring of the tank cap, water leaks, the tank cap works fine.
Other Issuses
Humidifier doesn't turn on(Indicator light doesn't turn on)
Ensure unit is properly plugged into a poweroutlet / try another power outlet.
Indicator light turn red
Try Base test/Not enough water inside the base chamber.Fill the water tank.
water leaks from the humidifier
- Tighten the water tank cap.
- The rubber ring was not installed on tank cap. Check the tank cap for rubber ring. If it is missing,please contact Customer support.
- Leakfrom TANK: Try water tank test/Check for possible cracks inthe tank or around the seam of the tank.
- Leak from BASE: Contact Customer Support.
Humidity level is low or no mist comes out
- Turn the mist level to a higher setting.
- Mineral buildup on atomizer. Clean atomizer(see Cleaning & Maintenance).
- Make sure the air inlet on the bottom of thebase is not blocked. The humidifier should not be set on carpet or other surfaces that mayblock the air inlet.
- Make sure the nozzle is not blocked or clogged. Make sure the humidifier is on a level surface.
- Water in unit is too cold: Replace with coolwater.
Condensation forms around humidifier
- Saturation of humidity: Lower mist controlsetting.
- Point mist away from objects: Raise unit on a water-resistant level surface 2-4 feet off floor.
Mold grows inside the humidifier, or white dust appears around the humidifier
- Use purified or distilled water to fill thehumidifier.
Avoid using water with high mineral content. - Clean the humidifier (see Cleaning & Maintenance).
Humidifier produces an unusual smell
Clean the water tank and base chamber (see Cleaning & Maintenance).
Humidifier makesa loud or unusualnoise
- Bubbling or knocking sounds is normal, that is he sound of water moving from the water tank to the base.
- lf it is continuous motor noise, the humidifier may be malfunctioning. Stop using the
humidifier and contact Customer Support.
